About Dr. James McKim Ph.D., DABT,

Dr. McKim graduated from the doctoral program in biochemical and molecular toxicology at Oregon State University and has been a Diplomat of the American Board of Toxicology since 1995. Dr. McKim has served in leading roles as Head of the Biochemical Molecular Toxicology Group at DOW Corning and Research Fellow/head of the in vitro toxicology screening group at Pharmacia (later Pfizer). Following his time at Dow and Pharmacia, Dr. McKim founded two contract research organizations, CeeTox, Inc. and  IONTOX, LLC. Along with his current role as CEO/CSO of IONTOX, LLC, Dr. McKim serves as the Editor and Chief of Applied In Vitro Toxicology, a new international journal devoted to discussing the application of in vitro methods. Over his 25+ year career, Dr. McKim has published numerous scientific manuscripts, book chapters, and reviews distributed worldwide.
